    Chandler D. White

    Chandler White is a freelance Percussionist based in Eastern Kentucky. Originally from Holland, Michigan, White is earning his undergrad at Morehead State University under Dr. Brian Mason, Dr. Ben Cantrell, and Dr. Josh Smith. Chandler currently teaches percussionists in all grade levels at Magoffin County Public Schools along with directing the Percussion Ensemble program. He also manages a small private studio in Morehead, KY teaching classical percussion and drumset. Chandler also arranges percussion at Fennville High School in Fennville, MI.

    As a performer Chandler has had experience in many ensembles across the midwest and southern United States. He has performed in the Cave Run Symphony Orchestra, MSU Opera, MSU Steel Band, KMEA Percussion Ensemble, KMEA Intercollegiate Band, Allegan Brass Collective, and many more. Chandler is also a founding member of the Seventh Forest Percussion Ensemble.

    When not teaching or performing, Chandler likes to compose and arrange music for the percussion world. His most recent works involve a percussion ensemble arrangement of The First Noel, and a snare solo with electronics, titled The Upset of the Century.

    Chandler White is a proud member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and the Percussive Arts Society.
