Jonathan Tirado currently serves as Associate Band Director and Director of Percussion at Timber Creek High School in Orlando, Florida. He received his Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida and his Master’s of Arts Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His primary instructors have included: Jeff Moore, Kirk Gay, Sherry Rubins, Graeme Francis, Marty Morell, Tom Aungst, Colin McNutt, and Bret Kuhn.

Jon has been writing, teaching and directing for several award-winning programs across the U.S. Some of these include Timber Creek HS (Orlando, FL), University of Texas at San Antonio, Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps and Walt Disney World Resort. He has years of marching experience with DCI and WGI groups such as Carolina Crown, Cadets and Infinity Percussion. Among his professional music career Jon has performed at Walt Disney World Resort, Sea World San Antonio, and the Orlando Magic.
