A college music instructor for 37 years, Patrick Thompson is a familiar name in northwest jazz education circles where he developed award-winning vocal and instrumental jazz ensembles at Green River College in Auburn, Washington. He is a graduate of Central Washington University and studied theory, composition, arranging and orchestration from Dr. Ralph Mutchler, Robert Panerio and American composer Paul Creston.

Pat currently resides in Cashmere, Washington where he is an active jazz pianist, bassist, and composer/arranger.
