Debra E. Stempien (b. 1976) (M.A. Music Theory, University of Michigan) is a professional saxophonist, theorist, composer, and private instructor. Together with pianist Gregory Turner, they perform over two hundred shows a year as the duo Standard Time, specializing in American jazz and pop standards.
