Austin Smith is an active percussionist, educator, and composer in Oklahoma City, OK. He currently serves as the Moore Bands Percussion Coordinator in Moore, OK. Among other duties, he organizes an annual night of percussion and facilitates collaboration between his students and artists in the area.

Smith received his Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and his Master’s degree from Oklahoma City University. His primary percussion teachers were David Bessinger, David Steffens, and Luis Rivera.
