With over a decade of experience playing percussion as well as a diverse teaching background, Matt Schneider enjoys helping students pursue music and develop the skills necessary to excel in the current musical setting. Additionally, he has experience arranging, transcribing, and writing his own music in numerous styles and genres. He has also won various percussion competitions, including first place wins in both the PASIC College Keyboard Competition and the PASIC College Multiple Percussion Competition. He recently graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Texas A&M University Commerce and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance from Northern Illinois University.
