Robles, Kevin
Kevin Alexander Robles, born in 2002, is an up-and-coming composer and percussionist currently based in Troy, Alabama. He is a dedicated student at Troy University working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Industry with a minor in Fine and Performing Arts. Kevin has been recognized as a finalist in several composition competitions, including the 2022 Young Composers Competition hosted by the Alabama Music Educators Association (AMEA). His compositions have been published by C. Alan Publications, Wildlight Publications, Tapspace Publications, and his own company, Kevin Robles Music Company.
As a performer, Kevin has had the opportunity to play with professional ensembles, including the Troy University Symphony Band and the PASIC award-winning Troy University Percussion Ensemble.
Kevin has received composition training from Dr. Traci Mendel, Mr. Robert W. Smith, Mr. Tyler Arcari, and Mr. Robert Clayson. He is also a member of professional organizations such as the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), the Percussive Arts Society (PAS), and Phi Boota roota, the National Percussion Fraternity.
