Dr. Brian Ridley is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist with a diverse array of musical experience. Dr. Ridley holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berry College, a Masters of Music Performance from the University of West Georgia, an Education Specialist degree and Doctorate in School Improvement from the University of West Georgia. He has written and arranged music for many schools and professional organizations, including Valdosta State University, the University of West Georgia, and the Atlanta Tuba Patrol. Ridley also stays busy as a freelancing sideman, teacher, session musician, and adjudicator. Dr. Ridley is a highly experienced school administrator who has served as both an elementary and middle school principal. In 2013, Dr. Ridley was selected by the Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals as Georgia's MetLife Middle Level Principal of the Year. He presently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of the Haralson County School District in Tallapoosa, GA where he lives with his wife Carmi and their children.
