Aakash Patel is a composer, freelance musician, brass clinician, and educator from Lawrenceville, Georgia. He has performed with a number of collegiate ensembles, including the University of Georgia Symphonic Band, the University of Georgia Wind Symphony, and the University of Georgia Redcoat Band. While in college, he wrote for the University of Georgia Redcoat Marching Band, various ensembles within the University of Georgia Horn Studio, and the River Ridge High School Band Program. He has had the opportunity to instruct at various middle and high schools within the state of Georgia, serving as a horn and brass clinician.

Aakash Patel has also had many opportunities within the marching arts. As a marching member, he was a performer with the University of Georgia Redcoat Marching Band (2015-2016), the Racine Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps (2013-2014) and the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps (2017). As an instructor, he has served as a High Brass Technician for the Atlanta CV Drum and Bugle Corps (2021), Brass Co-Caption Manager of Spirit of Newark Drum and Bugle Corps (2020), and as a brass and visual educator with various high school programs in the state of Georgia, most notably within Cherokee County and Cobb County.

Away from music, Mr. Patel enjoys playing video games, creative writing, and cooking. He also spends time helping out with the family hotel business. He continues to be a student at the University of Georgia where he is pursuing a degree in Music Education.
