Dan Moell is a percussion performer and educator from Dayton, Ohio. He attended Wright State University where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance in 2020.

As a performer, Dan was a member of the percussion ensemble Rhythm X during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He also attended the Brevard Summer Music festival in 2018 and has performed with the Richmond Symphony (IN) and the Springfield Symphony (OH). Dan has served on the percussion staff for many Dayton area schools. He was the percussion director at Northmont HS and is currently the front ensemble coordinator and concert percussion specialist at Centerville HS.

As a composer, Dan hopes to bring his passion for performing to his music. His main goal is to provide performers with challenging and fun experiences that develop important skills and confidence.
