Kline, Aaron
Aaron Kline (b. 1990) holds a DMA in Composition with Cognates in Theory and History from Texas Christian University. He has taught theory, aural skills, composition, orchestration, and indoor winds at institutions such as California Polytechnic State University, Texas Christian University and Tarrant County College. Prior to his doctorate, Kline was a band director in public schools in Texas. He draws from his experience as an educator and his academic training to produce music that is artistic, engaging, educational, and practical. His music has been performed at College Music Society Conferences around the United States. His composition teachers include Blaise Ferrandino, David Gillingham, Neil Anderson-Himmelspach, José-Luis Maúrtua, Till M. Meyn, and Robert Garwell.
