Ian T. Jones is a composer, percussionist, and educator from Mebane, NC. His teachers include Drs. Eric Willie, Mark Engebretson, and Alejandro Rutty.

Engaging, challenging, and passionate, Ian’s compositions being sought after by various artists and ensembles has granted him performances around the United States and internationally. Additionally, as an active percussionist and champion of new music, he has premiered countless works by student and established composers.
