Glenn Holmes is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He received his B.M. from Miami University, where he studied string bass with Richard Topper and composition with David Cope. Holmes received his M.M. in theory-composition at Wichita State University and studied composition with Dr. Walter Mays.
