Cody Holmes (b.1995) is originally from Lubbock, Texas and earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education at Texas Tech University. During his time at Texas Tech he was a member of the Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Texas Tech University Symphony Orchestra, the Goin’ Band From Raiderland, and the Steel Band. Cody was a percussion student of Dr. Lisa Rogers and Alan Shinn.

Cody’s compositional influences range from the depictions of nature to his interest in psychology, and attempts to portray emotion and spirit through his compositions. Aside from composition, Cody is also a working music educator and singer/songwriter in the West and North Texas area.
