De Cinque, Paul
Paul De Cinque is Chair of Brass at the University of Western Australia’s Conservatorium of Music. His teaching role at the Conservatorium includes teaching in the trumpet studio, teaching classes in brass studies, aural skills and community music, and conducting the Wind Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, and Trumpet Choir. Previously, Paul held a teaching position at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada.
Paul holds a doctorate from the University of South Carolina and a master’s from the world-renowned Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. In the United States, Paul studied conducting with Scott Weiss and Stephen W. Pratt. He received his undergraduate degrees in Music Performance and Music Education from the University of Western Australia.
