Chisham, Daniel
Daniel Chisham is currently teaching band in Missouri. He has also taught in Kansas and Oklahoma. He is a native of Wichita, Kansas and a graduate of Wichita State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Music Degree. He also holds a Master of Music Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has performed as a percussionist with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Music Theatre of Wichita, and was Principal Percussionist with the Missouri Chamber Orchestra as well as the Plano Chamber Orchestra.
Mr. Chisham has received commissions from the Holden, Missouri Band Program, the Newman University Concert Chorale and St. Mary’s Cathedral in Wichita, Kansas where he remains the staff arranger. His work, Across the Plains was listed on Bandworld Magazine’s Top 100 list in 1996.
