Bailey, Eric
Eric Bailey is a native of Century, Florida and currently employed with the Conecuh County Board of Education as the Assistant/Percussion Director of Bands at Hillcrest High School in Evergreen, Alabama. Prior to his tenure in Conecuh County Mr. Bailey served as the percussion instructor at Flomaton High School, WS Neal High School and TR Miller High School under legendary Director of Bands Mr. Johnny Folsom and now current Director of Bands Mr. Brandon Cornutt where Bailey had and still has an award winning percussion section. Mr. Bailey is a highly sought out clinician and instructor and travels during the summer months teaching numerous percussion camps. He has taught over 100 summer band and percussion camps, as well as judged bands and percussion contests in Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana and Florida. Mr. Bailey has placed many of his percussion students in major universities including Troy State University, Auburn University, Alabama A& M, University of South Alabama, Alabama State University, Miles College, Fort Valley State, and University of West Alabama. Mr. Bailey enjoys traveling with family and friends, fishing, and playing basketball. This past year Mr. Bailey had the honor to Instruct the Alabama All Star Marching Band Percussion Section who performed for the Mississippi vs Alabama All Star football game that was played in Montgomery, Alabama. Mr. Bailey is married to Angela Meeks Bailey and they have one daughter named Aunnie Bailey.
